Body of Young Man Found in Front of a House Door in Bogura

Bogura Correspondent: Police have recovered the body of a young man found lying in front of his house gate in the Talatala area of Kutubpur, Sariakandi upazila, Bogura, on Sunday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Sajib Mia, son of Sharif Uddin of the same area. According to police, injury marks were found on Sajib’s forehead. However, whether it was a case of murder or death due to other causes is still under investigation, said Sariakandi Police Station Officer-in-Charge, Jamirul Islam.

Locals stated that Sajib had fallen into drug addiction after completing his HSC several years ago. Even the night before his death, he was reportedly acting erratically due to drug use. On Sunday morning, as Sajib's father was leaving for prayers, he found his son lying motionless in front of the gate and informed the police, who later recovered the body from the scene.

OC Jamirul Islam confirmed, “We recovered the body of a young man named Sajib Mia from in front of his own house gate. There is an injury mark on his forehead. The exact cause of death will be determined after the autopsy report is received.
