International Desk: British-Swedish pharmaceuticals company AstraZeneca has sold 6.7 percent of its ownership to US pharmaceuticals company Modern. The financial value of this ownership is more than one billion dollars.

AstraZeneca took this step after the modern stock price rose as a result of the development of the coronavirus vaccine. Reuters quoted the British daily The Times as saying. The two companies are currently in talks to develop a vaccine. However, it is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.

There was no immediate word from AstraZeneca or Modern. AstraZeneca is working in partnership with Modern to treat diseases other than coronavirus.

The AstraZeneca corona vaccine could be sold commercially if the coronavirus epidemic is limited to the local level from the global stage.

In the United States, the Modern Corona vaccine has been approved for emergency use. The company said last week that it expects to sell 1.74 billion worth of vaccines this year.
