International Desk: Auckland, New Zealand's largest city, has been locked down twice a month. The country's health ministry issued a lockdown on Sunday to control the situation in Corona. The presence of a new type of corona identified in Britain has recently been confirmed in the country.

That is why the authorities have been forced to impose strictures. A seven-day lockdown has been imposed in the country of about 2 million people.

The first coronavirus was first identified in New Zealand about a year ago.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern issued a lockdown in Auckland on Saturday night, local time, after a new type of corona was recently identified. A 21-year-old student has been suffering from corona for a week. However, he was not in isolation.

In a televised speech, Jacinda Ardern said, "Despite our best efforts, Corona has been re-identified." It is thought that the number of infections may have been higher. The lockdown is effective from Sunday. Under this, he has been instructed to stay at home for three days.

A new type of corona was introduced in Britain in the middle of this month.

So far, 14 cases of the new type of corona have been identified. "People are dying because of covid," said Jacinda Ardern. We have to take various steps to save the lives of the people.

' Opposition leader Judith Collins, meanwhile, called for "severe punishment" if anyone did not comply with public health guidelines on isolation. New Zealand has maintained strict restrictions since the beginning of the Corona epidemic.

As a result, the number of infections and deaths in the country so far is much lower than in other countries. In a country of 5 million people, the total number of people infected so far is more than 2,000, and 26 people have died due to corona.
