BNP is trying to get involved in the conflict: Obaidul Quader

News Desk: BNP has made the people and the police as their opponents. Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader has said that they are trying to get involved in the conflict. He said the people are now realizing the BNP's anti-politics.

Obaidul Quader joined the Tarash Upazila conference in Sirajganj district on Sunday (February 14th) morning via video conference from his official residence. Speaking as the chief guest, he said the Awami League has never conspired but has been the victim of repeated conspiracies.

Obaidul Quader said the government will be changed through voting in a democratic system, adding that elections will be held in accordance with the constitution in due course. He also said that Sheikh Hasina has the honest courage to accept the verdict of the people.

The general secretary of the Awami League said that while the country was moving towards development, an evil mahal was involved in a conspiracy. After a series of failures in the movement and elections, they are now open to conspiracies at home and abroad. Obaidul Quader said the government had found BNP's involvement in Al-Jazeera's report, noting that such allegations by BNP leaders were not true.

The general secretary of the Awami League said that in the districts, upazilas, police stations, unions and wards where the committees have expired, the committees have to be formed through conferences as per the instructions of the center.

Committees cannot be formed with their own people to make their position heavy. In order to strengthen the team, sacrificial workers must be brought forward. Awami League Organizing Secretary SM Kamal Hossain, Health Secretary Dr Rokeya Sultana and other local leaders spoke at the end of Tarash Upazila.
