Rangabali (Patuakhali) Correspondent: If we want to stop drugs, we have to create a revolution in the family and socially. Only by socially boycotting drug traffickers will it be possible to eradicate the cancer called drugs from the society. Patuakhali District Superintendent of Police Mohammad Moinul Hasan said this. He was speaking as the chief guest at an exchange meeting on bit policing and law and order organized by Rangabali Thana at Rangabali Model Secondary School ground on Tuesday afternoon.

At the time, he said, the police were in a tough position against drugs. But even if drugs can be brought under control, it is not being stopped completely. If drug traffickers can be boycotted family and socially, then drug dealers will not be born in this society. Drug addicts will also give up drugs and return to a beautiful life. For this reason, bit policing offices have been set up across the country with the aim of creating social unity to stop all kinds of crimes including drugs. The Superintendent of Police further said that there is a sculpture of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Rangabali. This sculpture is very precious to us. Remember, death Bangabandhu is much stronger than living Bangabandhu.

If there is a conspiracy over the Bangabandhu sculpture, we will enforce the law to the maximum. Additional Superintendent of Police Ahmed Ali, Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police Faruk Ahmed, Rangabali Police Station OC Dewan Jaglul Hasan, Upazila Awami League President and former Upazila Chairman Md Delwar Hossain, Upazila Awami League General Secretary and UP Chairman Saiduzzaman Mamun were present at the meeting. Rangabali Government College Principal Tariqul Hasan Sohag, Rangabali Press Club Senior Co-President Jabir Hossain and General Secretary Kamrul Hasan Rubel among others.

Also present were teachers and students of various schools, colleges and madrasas and local dignitaries.
