Monthly welfare and crime review meeting of police was held in Chuadanga

Chuadanga Correspondent: A master parade of officer forces working in different units was held in Chuadanga district. The meeting was held at 9 am on Sunday at the parade ground in Police Lines. Chuadanga Superintendent of Police Zahidul Islam received the salami from the greeting stage of the Master Parade and inspected the parade. During this time, the officers participating in the Police Super Parade awarded GS (Good Service) marks based on the fitness and turn out of the forces.

The monthly welfare meeting for the month of January 2021 was held on the same day at 10:30 am. The Superintendent of Police listened attentively to the advantages and disadvantages of all the officers participating in the welfare meeting.

He discussed the overall issues including the solution of the disadvantages presented in the previous welfare meeting. At that time, the Superintendent of Police gave crests and cash to 13 members considering the professionalism, quality and quantity of work of the members and reprimanded 12 people for not being satisfactory considering the quality and quantity of work.

In order to bring the police service to the doorsteps of the people quickly, a police pick-up van was provided at the Sarojganj police camp and steel cupboards were provided to the camps for storage of weapons and essential items.

A monthly crime review meeting for the month of December 2020 was held at the Police Office meeting room at 12 noon. At the meeting, the officers of each police station instructed the in-charges to take necessary measures to guard the sculpture of Bangabandhu in the police station area, warrant Tamil, night duty and maintain law and order and prevent untoward incidents in the upcoming Darshan and Jivannagar municipal elections. Urge everyone to follow the hygiene rules.
