News Desk: Road Transport and Bridges Minister and General Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League Obaidul Quader has said that four mega projects including Padma Bridge will be inaugurated by June next year.

He was speaking at a press briefing on a contemporary issue in the conference room of the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges at the Secretariat on Sunday (January 3) at 11:30 am. What has the Awami League been able to give to the people after 12 years in power? In response to such a question, he said, "There are three mega projects in the government that I am fulfilling my responsibilities. Work on Dhaka Elevated Expressway, Metro Rail, Padma Bridge, Karnafuli Tunnel is in progress. I will be able to inaugurate all of them next year, I am working towards that goal. He said the government's goal is to implement the electoral challenge. The main challenge is to implement the promises made in the manifesto.

Corona has turned the whole world into a valley of death. In Bangladesh, under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina, on the one hand, we are dealing with Corona and keeping the economy afloat. Foreign currency reserves have reached বিল 43 billion, growth is in line with expectations. We are moving from all sides, moving towards digital Bangladesh. For Corona, many have lost their jobs and become unemployed, rehabilitating them and giving them jobs is a challenge. Our manifesto has employment for the unemployed. "If the situation is a little normal, the decision to open a school-college will be taken by the Prime Minister," he said. Regarding the vaccine, the health minister said that the vaccine may come by the end of January.

A government has been in power for so many years, resulting in incomplete work. If one government goes to our country, the other government cancels it. It may be that we demolished the Padma bridge because the Awami League did it. The government needs to have continuity to keep the development going. ' Quader said, "Today I am commemorating the second death anniversary of Syed Ashraf." He had confidence in the Awami League leader, she has done a lot for the party and I remember her with utmost respect today.

Besides, BNP standing committee member Barrister Moudud is ill, he is a man from my area. Wishing her a speedy recovery.
