Observance of human chain program to demand upgradation of teachers in Bashemurabiprabi

Bashemurbiprabi Correspondent: A human chain program was observed at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology (Bashemurbiprabi) in Gopalganj on behalf of the teachers' association. The human chain program was held to demand upgrades with financial benefits from the date of availability and to protest various excuses and time wasting on the upgradation of teachers who have been deprived of promotion for a long time.

The human chain was held in front of the university academic building at 11:30 am on December 23, 2020 (Wednesday) in the presence of the teachers. Dr. Hasibur Rahman, president of the human chain and president of the teachers' association of Bashemur Biprabi, said, "Teachers did not come together for any movement today. He sought the cooperation of the Vice-Chancellor to solve the problem of neglected teachers in a timely manner through upgradation.

Other teachers present at the human chain said it was their fair right. They said that the teachers' association could take more stringent action if necessary to realize that right. Besides, the teachers of different departments in the human chain presented their demands.
