Imam dies while praying in Brahmanbaria

Hasan Jabed from Brahmanbaria: An Imam named Hafez Maulana Muhammad Sulaiman (58) died in Brahmanbaria while performing Fajr prayers. The incident took place at the Medina Mosque at Kumarshil in the municipal area of ​​the district town on Monday morning. Maulana Sulaiman is the son of Kafil Uddin Munshi of Gutigram in Bitghar union of Nabinagar upazila of the district. He was the Imam of the Medina Mosque for 35 long years.

Maulana Ahiduzzaman, the caretaker of the Medina Mosque, said he withdrew from the arch when he felt short of breath while leading the Fajr prayers on Monday morning. He later died while praying with the worshipers. He will be buried at the premises of Jamia Islamia Sulaimania Madrasa in Titas Para after the Janaza at the Tankerpar Jame Mosque in Johar.
