Sports Desk: Former Bangladesh national football team captain Radal Roy has been diagnosed with cancer. Gradually his physical condition is deteriorating. This information has been confirmed by Abdul Gaffar, a former teammate of Badal Roy in the national team and Mohammedan.

One side of his body was already numb due to bleeding in the brain. Badal Roy has been admitted to the ICU of Square Hospital for some time with various symptoms including abdominal pain. Had to do dialysis. He was diagnosed with liver cancer on Sunday. Also stage-4 condition. Abdul Gaffar said Badal's condition was deteriorating. Having to do dialysis too.

The doctor found the existence of liver cancer after a CT scan. He said it is difficult to recover from there. Even if you take it abroad, there will be no benefit. Now it seemed that water had accumulated in his body. Can't speak that way. Badal Roy played for Mohammedan Sporting Club in the 80's.

He was also the captain of the national team. At the end of his playing career, he joined Mohammedan as an organizer. After working as a joint secretary in the Bangladesh Football Federation, he has been elected vice-president three times in a row.
