Bashemurabiprabira new vice chancellor. A. Q. M Mahbub

Gopalganj Correspondent: Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology (BASHEMURBIPRABI) has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University (DU) Department of Geography and Environment Professor (Retd.) Dr. A. Q. M Mahbub.

Note that on September 30, 2019, the former VC Professor Dr. was forced to resign in the face of student movement. Khandaker Nasiruddin. Later on October 7, Professor of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE) of the University. Md. Shahjahan was given the charge of acting vice-chancellor.

A circular signed by the Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Education Syed Ali Reza on Wednesday, 02.09.2020 said that with the approval of the President and the Chancellor, Professor (Retired) of the Department of Geography and Environment of Dhaka University (DU) Dr. A. Q. M Mahbub has been appointed as the Vice Chancellor (VC) of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology in Gopalganj for four years.
