Floods in Bangladesh in 2020 damage BDT 1,323cr crop

CNI Desk: The flood has caused crop losses amounting to about Tk 1,323 crore of more than 12 lakh farmers of the country, said Agriculrture Minister Dr Abdur Razzaque.

He also said the inundation damaged crops on 1.58 lakh hectares affecting 12 lakh and 72 thousand farmers in 37 districts.

Dr Abdur Razzaque came up with the revelation at a press conference on Wednesday while other high officials of the ministry concerned were present.
