8,636 Armed Forces members and family members infected by Coronavirus

CNI Desk: A total of 8,636 Armed Forces members, both in service and retired, as well as their family members, have tested positive for Covid-19 so far.

Inter Service Public Relation Directorate (ISPR) disclosed the information in a press release on Saturday.

As many as 826 of them are currently undergoing treatment at various Combined Military Hospitals (CMH), while 7,686 have fully recovered and returned to their homes.

 

So far, 124 of them have died, of whom 14 were serving military personnel.

The statement also said 652 Armed Forces personnel contracted coronavirus, and ten died of Covid-19 within the last week. All but one of the deceased was serving member of the organization.
