New Forbes Technology Council member: Kazi Monirul

CNI Desk: Kazi Monirul Kabir, tech entrepreneur, and founder of Spider Digital Innovation, became the member of Forbes Technology Council, an invitation-only community for world-class technology executives and entrepreneurs.

According to a press release, Kazi Monirul was vetted and selected by a review committee based on the depth and diversity of his experience. Criteria for acceptance include a track record of successfully impacting business growth metrics, as well as personal and professional achievements and honours.

As a member of the Council, Monirul will connect and collaborate with other respected leaders in Forbes’s private forums. Monirul will also be invited to work with a professional editorial team to share his expert insights in original business articles on Forbes.com, and to contribute to published Q&A panels alongside other experts.

My aim would be to work on making technology work for the social good of common people across South East Asia and the Middle East," Kazi Monirul Kabir said.

Before his debut as a tech entrepreneur, Kazi Monirul Kabir worked in different vital positions in many internationally well-known companies including British American Tobacco, Banglalink, Grameenphone and Google.

He served as Google Country Manager in Bangladesh and Singapore from 2012-2014.

Then he started ‘Spider Digital Innovation’, a Dubai-based Digital Transformation Company.

 

He also is the Chairman & MD of Altum Infratech Ltd. He is also the co-founder of first Bangladeshi AI based Programmatic Ad Network PurplePatch.

Beside tech business, he is currently serving as Country Director of Httpool in Bangladesh.
