Admission of 169 students of first class of Vikarunnisa canceled

Online Desk: The concerned department of the government has canceled the admission of 169 students of the first class of Vikarunnisa Noon School and College in 2024. At the same time, the admission of 169 students has been canceled and the admission has been ordered from the waiting list.

The Department of Education has submitted a report in this regard to the High Court on Wednesday (February 28).

Advocate Md. Shamim Sardar confirmed this.

A notification by Vikarunnisa Noon School and College said that Vikarunnisa Noon School and College had set an upper limit for first class admissions in the 2024 academic year but did not follow it and admitted students born before January 1, 2017 (as described in the attached list sent by the institution).

In such a situation, a total of 169 students, including 10 born in 2015 and 159 born in 2016, were requested to notify the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education on an urgent basis.
