BNP's struggle is to kill people and destroy economy: Nashim

Correspondent: Joint General Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League and Member of Parliament of Dhaka 8 Constituency Agriculturalist AFM Bahauddin Nashim said that BNP-Jamaat is anti-communal and anti-communal spirit of liberation war. The leader of this force, Moin Khan, says that they are fighting for the freedom and protection of the country. Their struggle is to kill people. Destroying the country's economy. They want to capture the interests of 17 crore people in their pockets. Our national character is non-communal and democratic Bangladesh which they want to destroy.

He said these things while addressing the chief guest at the emergency extended meeting of Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League at 23 Bangabandhu Avenue on Monday (February 19) afternoon.

He said that this BNP Jamaat is responsible for the killing of 30 lakh martyrs in the Great War of Liberation. They are responsible for the disgrace of 2 lakh mothers and sisters. They burnt and destroyed our beloved Bangladesh. They thought that the people of the country have forgotten their actions. Now the Moin Khans under the leadership of terrorist Tariq Rahman will protect freedom. He wants to destabilize Bangladesh with terrorists from 7 thousand miles away. 

He also said that Awami League knows how to teach those who will destroy the sanctity of our Shaheed Minar. They were the ones who repeatedly protested to the lords to destroy the country. They killed our democracy. They killed the father of the nation and his family. They are the ones who created military rule in the country and trampled democracy under their boots and desecrated our constitution. 

Nashim said, BNP Jamaat, which has attacked our democracy, will give a toothless reply by connecting the people of the country politically. We will prove that this Bangladesh is 17 crore people. This is the Bangladesh of Awami League, this Bangladesh is the Bangladesh of the spirit of the liberation war. We will not allow any corrupt, terrorist to do evil in this Bangladesh. They can no longer mislead the people of the country. 

Addressing the present leaders and activists, he said that Awami League leaders and activists will bring banners from each ward on February 1 morning. There will be written 'Amar Ekushey Februari I can forget it'. Others will learn from us. We should also learn from what our leaders have done in the past. No one can break our march. Let us not spoil the order of the procession. First there will be central leaders, then metropolitan leaders and then ward leaders. We will cheer the march with slogans. Awami League did Shaheed Minar. We have to protect its sanctity.
