International Desk: Iran's Ministry of Defense has unveiled a new advanced anti-ballistic missile defense system. This defense system, developed entirely through proprietary technology and indigenous experts, can destroy enemy missiles flying at low altitudes.
This missile defense system was officially displayed in the capital Tehran on Saturday. Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani, Minister of Defense of Iran, was present at the event. News from Parse Today.
The country-made 'Arman' anti-ballistic missile defense system is known as Tactical Sayad or 'Shikari' and this system can simultaneously detect 24 enemy targets at a distance of 180 km and destroy six to 12 targets simultaneously.
Compared to the Khordad-3 and Khordad-15 missile defense systems, it is a short-range missile defense system capable of self-defense. As Armaan ABM defense system has special protection system, radar system and missile launcher are also installed with this missile defense system in one vehicle. Through this, the missile system's own security has been ensured.
