International Desk: The World Health Organization (WHO) has said that the food crisis in Gaza has reached an extreme level due to the Israeli occupation.

The agency says it is unable to deliver food to Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip despite a severe food shortage. Delays at the checkpoints are creating a difficult situation there. Al Jazeera, a Qatar-based media outlet, said after delivering food in northern Gaza, aid worker Mercy Corps said, "I saw two people die of suffocation because of the crowd." Many people have become sick due to the crowd.

Food supply in that area was not good. The Red Crescent said Israeli forces attacked Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Younis. Now they are asking doctors and displaced Palestinians to leave the area.

On October 7, Hamas launched an unprecedented attack on Israel from Gaza, killing more than 1200 people. 242 people were taken hostage. In retaliation, Israel began heavy airstrikes on Gaza from that day.

The occupying country then launched a ground campaign, which continues to this day. At least 26,751 people have been killed in Gaza by Israeli attacks since the war started on October 7.
