The fourth season of Vir Muktijoddha Rana Master Smriti Football Tournament has started

Pabna Correspondent: The fourth season of the heroic freedom fighter Ataur Rahman Rana Master Smriti Football Tournament has started in Chatmohar, Pabna. Pabna-3 Constituency Member of Parliament Alhaj Maqbul Hossain inaugurated the tournament as the chief guest on Friday (September 22) afternoon.

Upazila executive officer. Under the chairmanship of Reduanul Halim, special guests were Chatmohar Upazila Chairman Alhaj Abdul Hamid Master, Bhangura Upazila Chairman Md. Bakibillah, upazila Awami League president hero freedom fighter SM Nazrul Islam, general secretary Atiqur Rahman Atiq, upazila women vice chairman Feroza Parveen.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chatmohar police station. Salim Reza, PCD Executive Director Shafiqul Alam, Haripur UP Chairman Maqbul Hossain, Orbital Link School and College President MA Matin, Disha NGO Executive Director Rabiul Islam. Director of Micro Credit Regulatory Authority Nure Alam Mehdi Sanju gave welcome speech.

In the opening match, Mulgram Football XI of Chatmohar defeated Mihir Sporting Club of Nilphamari 7-6 in a tiebreaker. The game ended in a 1-1 draw. Eight teams from different districts of the country are participating in this knockout-based tournament organized by Bir Muktijoddha Rana Master Smriti Sangsad and Chatmohar Sabuj Sangh.
