International Desk: US President Joe Biden has called on world leaders to stand up against Russia. He made this call in his address to the 78th annual session of the United Nations General Assembly. In this 30-minute speech yesterday (Tuesday), he expressed unwavering support for Ukraine.

"No nation will be safe if we allow Ukraine to degenerate," Biden said. According to him, "Russia believes that at some point the world will tire and allow them to carry out atrocities in Ukraine without consequence." Biden added, “Can any member state of this organization believe that they will be safe if Ukraine is allowed to destabilize?

Will the freedom of any nation be safe? I would respectfully suggest the answer is no." The US president said Washington and its allies, which have supported Kiev since the start of the war, "will stand by the brave people of Ukraine".

Biden was speaking at the UN General Assembly, where many leaders, including those from France and Britain, were absent. However, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was present.
