International Desk: Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan again accused the army. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief said army generals were trying to prevent his victory in the upcoming elections. He said this effort by the army would pave the way for a weak government in the country. But now Pakistan is facing extreme financial crisis. The former prime minister of Pakistan said these things in an interview given to the American media Bloomberg. Speaking to Bloomberg on Friday evening at his residence in Lahore's Zaman Park, Khan cited government criticism and military pressure to arrest his supporters. He alleged that they wanted to 'crush' his Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party before the next elections.

Pakistan is bound to hold general elections in mid-October. But before that, the government says that it has to answer for the attack on the military building last May. On May 9, after Imran Khan was arrested in a case, violence spread across Pakistan. He was released after two days. In April last year, the then Prime Minister Imran Khan lost power in a vote of confidence in Parliament. However, in all the polls conducted since then, Imran Khan has proved to be a popular leader.

Also since losing power, PTI has held several successful rallies, which have attracted the largest number of people in the history of Pakistan. However, in the May incident, the government continued its campaign against the party. However, the PTI chief denied the party's involvement in the attack. Several senior leaders of the party resigned after the incident. However, Imran Khan has alleged that his party leaders are being forced to resign. Expressing apprehension about the October elections, Imran Khan said, 'It all depends on the establishment (army).

They will announce elections only when they see that PTI cannot win the elections, and that is confirmed.' However, no one responded to Bloomberg's request to contact representatives of the government and the army to find out about such allegations by the former Prime Minister of Pakistan. Although both (the government and the army) have said it before, Imran Khan and his supporters crossed the line by attacking state-owned properties.
