News Desk: Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that Bangladesh is not yet in a dire situation like European countries, don't read it. He said this at the inauguration ceremony of the new inter-city train on Chilahati-Dhaka-Chilahati route on Sunday morning. He joined the inaugural function virtually from Ganobhaban. Taking the example of Europe, Sheikh Hasina said that during the last winter, European countries; They stopped using hot water. Because everything runs on electricity. No hot water, no heating - this is their plight. Even if you go to the market, you have to buy limited. A family cannot buy more than six eggs. Can't buy more than 1 liter of oil, can't buy more than 3 tomatoes—that's the situation. Bangladesh has not yet fallen into that predicament, inshallah it will not.

But the people of our country have to do one thing, as I am saying again and again - we have to cultivate all the uncultivated land we have. Production should be increased. Fish should be farmed in all the reservoirs we have. The Prime Minister said, today we have given the budget to Bangladesh. In 2006, during the BNP government, the budget was only 61 thousand crores. And the budget we have given on June 1 is a budget of Tk 7 lakh 61 thousand 785 crores. We have given the biggest budget in the history of Bangladesh. We are committed to implement this budget and we will do it. Awami League can. He said, I know many people try to say many things; But we know Bangladesh, and we also know the condition of the people of Bangladesh.

Of course, sitting in Dhaka city... we have now given electricity, sitting in air-conditioned rooms; I have opened so many televisions in the private sector, sitting there you are getting the benefits of talk shows. Giving a good talk show and what we do, there is a criticism, there is a but finding. And how many words to disappoint people. He also said, "I don't know what the bad name of Bangladesh is because they say it to foreigners." I can't tell if they collect some handouts but they get satisfaction from talking against Bangladesh. Those who say this and after giving the budget, they always say, it is not possible, it cannot be done - but we do it and show it. The prime minister said that the coronavirus and especially the Ukraine-Russia war. On top of that, the sanctions-counter-sanctions have increased the price of every commodity worldwide.

Our fuel prices have gone up, gas prices have gone up, food prices have gone up, wheat and sugar, everything that we are going to buy, everything has gone up, transportation has gone up, circulation has gone up. Even the loans we have taken abroad have increased the interest rates. As a result there is a pressure on our economy. We have some initiatives of our own to deal with that. He said, we will give 100% electricity - we gave electricity to every house; But today the price of gas-oil-coal is increasing all over the world and now power generation is also being disrupted. It is not possible to buy even with money.

For which... I know, people are suffering a bit in this heat. On the one hand inflation and on the other hand there is no electricity - these two problems are facing the people of my country. The Prime Minister said, if the fan gets into the habit of eating air, then it will be more difficult if you don't get it! This is also true. Used to not available now. But if the war had not stopped and if there had been no sanctions, we would not have had any difficulty. We could have taken the country forward. Today because of war but all over the world...every country is suffering.
