International Desk: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the people of this country will respond to the conspiracy of the West in the runoff vote on May 28. Erdogan challenged the West in an interview given to state media RTR Haber on Monday. News from Anadolu.

Erdogan said, the western media is desperate to defeat me in the election. They have shamelessly interfered in our internal affairs. lied against me consistently.

But the people of Turkey won me in the elections held on May 14. Hopefully, in the second round of May 28 i.e. the run-off vote, I will win by slapping the Westerners on the cheek.

Erdogan said, we have achieved our democratic values. The West has followed us, frightened by the rise of Turkey's sophisticated armaments and military power.

Moreover, Turkey could not cause chaos in Qatar, Azerbaijan and Libya. We can now distinguish enemy and friend very clearly.

Meanwhile, Sinan Ogan, the third-placed candidate in the first round, announced his support for Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the second round of presidential elections in Turkey on Monday.

This support is expected to make it easier for Erdogan to win the May 28 election.

Sinan announced his support for Erdogan at a press conference in Ankara on Monday.

Urging his supporters to support Erdogan in the second round of elections, he said, "We have done all kinds of consultations before taking the final decision." I have taken this decision because it will be good for our country and nation.

Erdogan or Kemal Kilicdaruglu, who will be the president of Turkey for the next five years, will be determined by that vote.

In the first round of elections, Erdogan received 49.52 percent, Kemal Kilicdaruglu 44.88 percent and Sinan Ogan 5.17 percent.
