Sohel Rana, Narail: A mobile court has sentenced an old man to 6 months' imprisonment for consuming drugs (marijuana) in Lohagara police station area. On the night of April 17, Lohagarh Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Executive Magistrate Mr. Md. Azgar Ali gave this verdict.
Based on secret information, under the supervision of Narail DB Police Inspector Mr. Md. Sajedul Islam, SI (retd) Saiful Islam along with the force raided the Maitkumra residential area of Lohagara and arrested Mandar Kazi (55) while consuming drugs (Ganja). He is the son of deceased Baku Kazi of that area. The anti-narcotics drive of the District Police is continuing with the aim of implementing the zero tolerance policy against drugs under the guidance of the Superintendent of Police.
