Kalbaisakhi storm is expected to blow in different parts of the country

News desk: There is a danger that the Kalbaisakhi storm will blow over the capital Dhaka on Saturday (April 1) night as well as on Friday. This storm is likely to blow between 10:00 PM and 2:00 AM. Apart from this, there may be thunderstorms, heavy thunder and hailstorm in all the districts of Dhaka division at night. Mustafa Kamal Palash, a PhD researcher on weather and climate at the University of Saskatchewan, said this information in a post on Facebook in the evening. In the post, he warned of the threat of thunderstorms, lightning and hailstorms over other divisions.

He writes, Kalbaisakhi storm may hit all districts of Mymensingh division from evening to midnight. Kalboishakhi storm, severe lightning and hailstorm are expected to pass over the entire 4 districts of Sylhet division till 2 am. He writes about Khulna Division, like yesterday, Kalboishakhi storm, severe lightning and hailstorm may pass over most of the districts of Khulna Division tonight. Possible time is 8 PM to 12 AM. Like yesterday in Barisal division, there is a risk of severe thunderstorm, heavy thunder and hailstorm passing over most of the district tonight as well.

Possible timings are 11pm to 4am. Kalboishakhi storm, severe thunder and hailstorm are likely to pass over most of the districts of Chittagong Division today. Possible time is 3 pm to 6 am. There is a danger of Kalbaisakhi storm over the districts of Rajshahi division from 7:30 PM to 12:00 AM.
