Even today there is a risk of storm with heavy rain in different parts of the country

News Desk:  Heavy rain and thundershowers may occur in different areas of the country today, said the Meteorological Department. This rain may be accompanied by gusty winds.  

In the weather forecast for the next 24 hours from 9 am on Saturday, the Meteorological Department has said that light to moderate rain or thunder may occur in most parts of Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and many parts of Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh and Dhaka divisions temporarily with gusty winds.  

In the next 72 hours, this rainfall trend may decrease and the temperature may rise, the weather forecast also mentioned. 

As for temperature, day temperature may decrease slightly and night temperature may remain almost unchanged across the country.

According to the weather synoptic, the extension of western low pressure is located over West Bengal and adjoining Bangladesh. Seasonal normal low pressure is located over South Bay of Bengal.  

The relative humidity of the air in Dhaka at 6 am on Saturday was 93 percent. 

Yesterday, the highest temperature in the country was 34.3 degree Celsius in Bandarban. And today's minimum temperature was recorded at Nikli at 18 degrees Celsius.
