Karbari killed, 2 injured in Rowangchari firing

Shaheed Islam Babar, Bandarban: One person was killed and two others were injured in an exchange of fire between armed terrorists in Rawangchari Upazila of Bandarban. Deceased Thomchu Bom (74) was a businessman of Ramtha district. However, the names and identities of the injured have not been found. According to local sources, Thomchu Bom and his son were going to zoom in Karbari Para of Durgam Ramtha, 15 kilometers away from the headquarters of Rawangchari upazila at around 11 am on Wednesday (March 22).

The casualties occurred when the terrorists fired. After the incident, police and army personnel went and recovered the body. After this incident there is panic in the area, many people have fled their homes. Police and army members are patrolling the area after the incident, Superintendent of Police of Bandarban Mohammad Tariqul Islam said, a bullet-riddled body of a person was recovered in Ramtharpara area. Two more people were shot in this incident.
