Obaidul Quader will be uprooted poison tree of sectarian power blocking the way

News Desk: General Secretary of Awami League Obaidul Quader has commented that the poison tree of communal power will be uprooted from the path of building Bangabandhu's dream of Sonar Bangla. The Awami League general secretary said these words after paying tribute to the 103rd birth anniversary of the father of the nation at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Memorial Museum premises in Dhanmondi on Friday (March 17) morning.

The BNP government has repeatedly defamed the constitution. Awami League will protect the dignity of the constitution and will hold the next election in that light. Earlier, Awami League paid tribute to Bangabandhu's portrait by flowers. Tributes were paid under the leadership of party president and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. At 7:12 in the morning, the Prime Minister paid his respects in front of the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum, Dhanmondi 32. Before this, he first paid tribute to Bangabandhu's portrait as the Prime Minister. Senior and central leaders of Awami League were present on the occasion.
