News Desk:  Iran and Saudi Arabia recently announced the restoration of diplomatic relations after ending seven years of hostility. This time, Riyadh has announced to invest in Iran soon. Saudi Finance Minister Mohammad Al-Zadan said this on Wednesday. Earlier, Riyadh and Tehran agreed to restore relations on March 10.

Al-Arabiya reported that the Saudi finance minister said investment in Iran is possible as long as "good relations" are maintained.

"I see no impediment to future investment based on normal relations, especially as long as treaty commitments and respect for sovereignty continue," al-Zadan told an economic conference in the capital Riyadh on Wednesday.

Last Friday, the agreement between the two countries was signed in Beijing, the country's capital, through the mediation of China. After this, a tripartite statement was issued by Iran, Saudi Arabia and China. The Saudi minister says his country is committed to complying with the terms of the deal.

Earlier, Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan said that the agreement to reestablish diplomatic relations with Iran means ensuring the achievement of mutual goals through communication and discussion. However, it does not mean that everything will be solved because there is an agreement with Tehran.

On Wednesday, the Saudi finance minister also said, "I think there are many opportunities for us in Iran, and we can also create many opportunities for Iran." But as long as the good relations between the two countries continue.
