News desk: Dhaka In the last 24 hours, eight more dengue patients have been admitted to hospitals across the country due to dengue fever. On Sunday (February 26), a press release about dengue sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health informed this information. In the last 24 hours, eight new dengue fever patients have been admitted to the hospital. Among them, three new dengue patients are admitted in Dhaka hospital and five new dengue patients outside Dhaka. At present, a total of 32 dengue patients are admitted in hospitals across the country.

Among them, 14 dengue patients are admitted in different hospitals in Dhaka and 18 dengue patients outside Dhaka. From January 1 to February 26, 2023, a total of 727 dengue patients were admitted in different hospitals of the country. Among them, there are 347 people in Dhaka and 380 people outside Dhaka. At the same time, the total number of dengue patients exempted in the country is 686. Among them, 327 patients were discharged in Dhaka and 359 patients outside Dhaka. The notification also informed that no one died due to dengue infection in the last 24 hours and a total of nine people died due to dengue infection this year. The total number of admitted patients is 62 thousand 382 and 281 people died due to dengue.
