Reshuffle of two top officials of DSE

Economy Desk : The duties of two officials of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the country's main capital market, who have been promoted from general manager, have been reshuffled. One of the two officials is Samiul Islam, Senior GM of HR & Admin, DSE. Another senior GM of Company Affairs Department is Mohammad Asadur Rahman. This information is known from DSE sources.

According to DSE information, Senior GM Samiul Islam has been given the responsibility of Market Development Department from HR & Admin Department. And Asadur Rahman has been transferred to the HR and Admin department in place of Samiul Islam. At the same time, he will be responsible for the company affairs department until the new company secretary takes charge.

They will perform duties from Sunday (February 19). This instruction was given by the management department of DSE last Thursday (February 16).

Two GMs were promoted to the post of senior GMs in the recent DSE board meeting. Mohammad Samiul Islam has been serving in various departments of DSE for about 27 years. On the other hand, Mohammad Asadur Rahman started working in DSE in 2009.

In the previous week, the MD of DSE released AGM Mohammad Roni Islam, who was responsible for the head of the market operation department, Kamruzzaman, Humayun Kabir and Rakibur Rahman of the same department.

Among these four people, AGM Jalilur Rahman has been made the head of this department instead of AGM Mohammad Roni Islam. Faisal Abdullah of Product Management Department, Sajjad Hossain of CSD Department and Yasin Mintuk of Internal Audit have also been added to this department. Besides, Mahmuda Akhtar of HR Department has been transferred to Internal Audit Department.
