Health Desk:   Due to irregular lifestyle, thyroid problems can occur in young people. In this case, various problems arise in the body, among which obesity is one of them.

According to the World Health Organization, at least 12 percent of people in the world are suffering from thyroid problems. Thyroid problems are more common in women but many men are also suffering from this problem due to irregular lifestyle.

What is thyroid?

Thyroid gland mainly produces thyroxine hormone in the body. Problems arise when this hormone is more or less than required. Thyroxine hormone is mainly important in metabolism and for the formation of various parts of the body.

However, the level of this hormone is too high or too low in the body and it causes various physical problems. Keeping the thyroid under control is very important.

Because the problem will arise only if its level exceeds the limit. But how do you know if you are suffering from thyroid or not?

It is not always known in advance whether the thyroid has settled in the body or not. However, if the thyroid is attacked, some symptoms appear in the feet -

Pain in feet

One of the most common thyroid symptoms is leg pain. The thyroid gland, which produces hormones, controls the body's metabolism.

But when that hormone doesn't work properly, the leg muscles start to ache. Hypothyroidism may be behind this pain. If you have frequent leg pain, it is important to get your thyroid levels checked.

Dry feet

If the thyroid nests in the body, the soles of the feet can become excessively dry. If the hormones produced by the thyroid gland do not work properly, such problems start to manifest.

As the thyroid gland becomes inactive, the production of sebum in the body also stops. As a result, the skin becomes rough and dry.

itchy feet

A common symptom of hypothyroidism is itchy feet. Gradually it spreads to different parts of the body including not only the feet but also the scalp and hands.

Thyroid problems dry up the body from within. The problem of itching increases as the skin becomes excessively rough.

If you feel itchy skin on your feet without any reason, then definitely consult a doctor.
