The highlight of the delegation of the Japanese Embassy in Faridpur was the visit to the eye hospital

Ehsan Rana, Faridpur: A delegation from the Embassy of Japan visited Highlight Eye Hospital in Bhanga, Faridpur. On Sunday afternoon, the delegation observed the hospital's overall medical services and activities at a place adjacent to the Upazila Model Mosque at Biswa Road Roundabout of the upazila. On their arrival, the hospital gave them a red carpet welcome and floral greetings. Later, the delegation visited the hospital inside and outside. They praised the hospital's service, patients' operations, doctors and nurses' skills.  

The chief guest at the reception was Haruta Hiroki, the chief secretary of the embassy, ​​Wasaki Daisi, the second secretary of the embassy, ​​and Emika Pradhan, the CGHSP consultant of the embassy, ​​were the special guests. Besides, doctors, nurses, workers of the hospital were present at this time.   

Director of the hospital Md. Shahidul Islam welcomed them and said that the eye hospital continues to contribute by providing free medical services to poor and helpless patients. Our service activities will be enhanced by connecting more modern equipment in Bhashya. Haruta Hiroki, the head of the delegation, said that the way the hospital is operating as a private enterprise deserves praise.
