Pricing of current year Hajj package

News Desk:  The Ministry of Religion has decided the price of this year's Hajj package. This year, the minimum package for Hajj has been fixed at 683,000 taka under the government management. 

The Hajj package was finalized under the chairmanship of the State Minister for Religion Faridul Haque Khan in the meeting of the Executive Committee regarding Hajj Management in the meeting room of the Ministry of Religion at the Secretariat on Wednesday.

Depending on the sighting of the moon, the holy Hajj will be held on June 28. Bangladesh signed a bilateral Hajj agreement with Saudi Arabia on January 9 to perform Hajj this year. According to this year, 1 lakh 27 thousand 198 pilgrims can go for Hajj from Bangladesh.

Out of this, 15 thousand people can perform Hajj under government management and 112 thousand 198 people under private management. The ban on performing Hajj for those over 65 years of age has also been lifted. It is expected that the cost of Hajj may increase this year.
