News Desk: The Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources has issued a notification to increase the price of electricity per unit by 20 paisa at the consumer level. This notification was issued on Monday (January 30) night by an executive order of the government increasing the price of electricity.

On January 12, the retail price of electricity at the consumer level in the country was increased by 19 paise per unit, effective from January 1. At the same time, it was also mentioned in the notification that the retail price of electricity will be regularly adjusted every month from now on.
