HSC and equivalent exam results on February 8

News Desk: The Board of Education has released the date of publication of HSC and equivalent exam results. Convener of Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and Chairman of Dhaka Education Board Tapan Kumar Sarkar said on Sunday morning that the result will be announced on February 8.

The results of the HSC-equivalent examination will be published on February 8. A proposal was sent to the Ministry of Education mentioning the possible date of February 7-9 to publish the results of this examination. When it was sent to the Prime Minister, he fixed February 8. The matter was reported to the Ministry of Education last Thursday. The result of this examination will be published by the afternoon of February 8 as the Prime Minister has fixed the time.

HSC and equivalent exams started on November 6, due to the coronavirus pandemic and floods. More than 12 lakh students participated in 9 General Education Boards, Madrasa Boards and Technical Boards.

This time also the higher secondary examination is conducted by reducing the subjects, marks and time. Like the previous academic year, the syllabus was also short.

The education boards follow the practice of publishing the results within two months of the end of the examination. As such, the date of publication of the result has been fixed on February 8.
