Expulsion, examination canceled if mobile phone is found in the center

News Desk: The National University has issued a warning notice regarding the irregularities related to the entry and use of mobile phones in the examination halls of the colleges affiliated to the National University. It is said that if a student finds a mobile phone in the examination hall, he should be expelled. Besides, his examination of the respective year will be canceled for this offence.

On Tuesday (January 24), National University Examination Controller Md. This information was informed in a circular signed by Badruzzaman.

According to the notification, recently there has been an alarming increase in complaints of entering the examination hall with mobile phones and cheating in the examination through electronic devices. In this regard, mobile phones cannot be taken in the center as per the examination discipline provisions of the National University. If a candidate is found with a mobile phone, he will be expelled. Besides, his examination of the corresponding year will be canceled for this offence.

Besides, if he uses mobile phone illegally, he will have to cancel the examination of the corresponding year of expulsion and will be barred from the examination in the next year. In both cases, the mobile phone used must be returned to the concerned candidate, keeping the required information. As evidence of counterfeiting, the photo of the phone should be attached along with the printed copy of the counterfeit.

It is also said that if the candidate entered with the phone or used it, the mobile phone should be returned in writing. Mobile phones used in the examination hall cannot be deposited under any pretext. If there is any problem in this regard, it is asked to contact the concerned department.
