International Desk:  After several appeals to Western allies for tanks to resist Russia in the ongoing war, the United States and Germany are now going to fulfill the request of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Germany and the United States have officially responded to this request of Ukraine. Germany has announced to give 14 Leopard tanks to Ukraine. On the other hand, the United States has said that it will give 31 Abrams tanks to Ukraine.

On Wednesday, German Chancellor Olaf Schultz announced the delivery of Leopard-2 tanks to Ukraine. He announced this in the cabinet meeting in the morning. Olaf Shultz said, "This decision is an example of how we can best support Ukraine."

This decision is an example of how we can best support Ukraine. Later, in a statement, the German Chancellor also said that two battalions of Leopard-2 tanks will be given to Ukraine. In the first phase, 14 Leopard-2 tanks will be supplied from the German Army's stockpile. Berlin will also train Ukrainian troops to operate the tank.

As a result of Germany's announcement, other countries can also export Leopard tanks to Ukraine. As a result, in order to take a strong position against Russia in the battlefield, some European countries including Poland and Finland have taken the initiative to hand over Leopard-2 tanks made in Germany to Ukraine, and there is no obstacle. As a result, Ukraine's arsenal is expected to be richer to fight against the Russian army.
