Erdogan inaugurated the high-speed metro rail at the airport on Sunday. Turkey's largest airport is connected to the first railway line. For this, a 34 km long metro link was established. Metrorail can serve an average of eight lakh passengers every day. Last year, an average of 1,156 flights took off at this airport every day.
