News Desk:  Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi said that Tehran's relationship with Moscow is strategic. Iran's economic relations with Russia are getting stronger. Ibrahim Raisi said this on Sunday at the ceremony of receiving credentials of the new ambassador of Russia in Tehran. News from Tasnim News.

At this time Raisi said that mutual cooperation between the two countries has increased in many fields. President Raisi stressed the need to strengthen strategic economic cooperation between Iran and Russia, citing the development of diplomatic relations between Tehran and Moscow.

Ebrahim Raisi referred to the Tehran-Moscow relationship as strategic at a ceremony to receive the credentials of new Russian ambassador Alexei Dedov, the Presidential Information Department said.

Russian Ambassador Dedov also said that development of Moscow-Tehran comprehensive economic cooperation will be one of the priorities of his action plan.

He also said that due to the strategic economic cooperation between Iran and Russia, the sanctions policy of Western countries has failed.
