Sports Desk: Jasprit Bumrah returned to India's ODI squad announced against Sri Lanka for the last series. The star pacer has been added to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) after 3 long months of recovering from a back injury.
Bumrah was out of the field since October last year. And because of this injury, Bumrah could not take part in the Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates and the T20 World Cup in Australia. However, he played against Australia at home after the Asia Cup. After that, the old back injury came back.
During this time, Bumrah passed the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore. He completed his rehab there. India's ODI series against Sri Lanka at home will begin on January 10. The remaining two ODIs of the series will be played on January 12 and 15.
