Motorcyclist killed in road accident in Chatmohar

Tofazzal Hossain Babu, Pabna: A motorcyclist named Ashikur Rahman Ashiq (21) was killed in a road accident at Chatmohar in Pabna. The accident took place on Monday at around 11.30 pm in Narikel Para Degree College Gate area of ​​the city.

The deceased Ashiqur Rahman is the son of Rafiqul Islam of Dolong village in Bilchalon Union of Ashiq Upazila. It is known that Ashiq dropped one of his colleagues named Montu on a motorcycle after working at the hotel at Railbazar area around 10:30 pm. On the way back, Ashiq lost control and fell on the road along with the motorcycle at the college gate area.

When he was seriously injured in the head, the patrol police members rescued him and took him to the Upazila Health Complex, where doctors declared Ashiq dead.

Regarding the incident, the officer-in-charge (OC) of Chatmohar police station Mohammad Jalal Uddin said that the body was recovered and sent to Pabna morgue for post-mortem on Tuesday morning.
