The best taxpayers are Shakib, Tamim and Sohan

News Desk: 141 individuals and organizations have been selected as the best taxpayers in the tax year 2021-22. Among them, Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal and Kazi Nurul Hasan (Sohan) have been selected as the best taxpayers by paying the highest tax in the player category. They will be given special honor 'Tax Card'.

This information has been revealed in a notification signed by Nusrat Jahan Nisu, Senior Assistant Secretary of Internal Resources Division-2 (Tax) of the Ministry of Finance. Yesterday Tuesday (December 20) this information was revealed by NBR sources.

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has nominated a total of 141 individuals and organizations for tax cards as the best taxpayers for the financial year 2021-22, including Couch Mia.

A total of 141 individuals and organizations are getting tax cards, including 76 in the individual category, 53 in the company category and 12 in the other category among the best taxpayers.

According to the list published by NBR, Haji Md. has become the best businessman taxpayer as in recent years. Couch mia He received this honor in the senior citizen category. Grameenphone is getting the highest taxpayer tax card in the telecommunication category at the company level.

Taxpayers in banking category are Islami Bank, Standard Chartered Bank- Bangladesh Branch, Dutch Bangla Bank Limited, The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited. In the non-banking category, Infrastructure Development Company Limited'- IDCL, IDLC Finance Limited, Investment Corporation of Bangladesh and Bangladesh Infrastructure Finance Limited. Square Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Renetta Ltd., Beximco Ltd. in the category of drugs and chemicals. and Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Bata Su Company, Lalmai Footwear Ltd., Alliance Leather Goods and Footwear Ltd. in the leather industry category.

Other categories include British American Tobacco Bangladesh Limited, Sheikh Akiz Uddin, American Life Insurance, Meghnaghat Power Ltd.

Bangladesh Machine Tools Factory Ltd., Bangladesh Steel Re-Rolling Mills Ltd. in engineering category. and National Development Engineers Ltd. Olympic Industries Ltd., Pran Dairy Ltd. and Square Food & Beverage Ltd. in the food and accessories category.

Titus Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited, Yamuna Oil Company Limited and Petromex Refinery Limited in the energy category. Akiz Jute Mills Ltd., Ayan Jute Mills Ltd. and Roman Jute Mills Ltd. in the jute industry category.

In spinning and textile mills category Coates Bangladesh Limited, Paramount Textiles Limited, Nahid Cotton Mills Limited, ACS Textile (Bangladesh) Limited, Badsha Textiles Limited, Apex Textile Printing Mills Limited. and NZ Textiles Limited.

East West Media Limited, Times Media Limited, Times Media Limited and Mediastar Limited in print and electronic media category. Bay Development Ltd., Concord Real Estate & Development Ltd., Building Technology & Ideas Ltd. in the Real Estate category.

In the ready-made apparel category, Square Fashion Limited, Universal Jeans Limited, Jaber & Jobair Fabrics Limited, Rifat Garments Limited, Pacific Jeans Limited, Snowtex Outwear Limited and Yangwan Hitech Sportswear Industries Limited.

At other taxpayer level 12 establishments in 4 categories are getting tax cards. Among them, Messrs. S.N. Corporation, Messrs. Fakhr Uddin Ali Ahmad, Messrs. Md. Jamil Iqbal, M/s Saleh Ahmed.

Bangladesh Bridge Authority, Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board in local authority category. Army Welfare Organization Head Office and Bangladesh Police Welfare Trust in the Individual Association category.

In other categories – Asha, Buro Bangladesh, United Development Initiative for Programmed Action (Uddipan) and Resource Integration Center (RIC).

76 individuals including Shakib, Tamim and Sohan are getting tax cards.

In the senior citizen category. Apart from Kauch Miah, Khwaja Tajmahal, Fazlur Rahman, M Sahabuddin Ahmed and Engineer Khandkar Badrul Hasan are getting tax cards as the highest taxpayers in the senior citizen category.

In the gazetted freedom fighter category, Md. Nasir Uddin Mridha, Matin Chowdhury, Dr. Md. Amjad Hossain, Md. Zainal Abedin, Lieut. General Abu Saleh Md. Nasim (Retd.). Dr. in the doctor category. Jahangir Kabir, Professor Dr. AKM Fazlul Haque, Professor Dr. Pran Gopal Dutta, Dr. Nargis Fatema, Dr. NAM Momenuzzaman.

Tax card holders will get various state benefits. Priority will be reserved for them in all residential hotel bookings including VIP lounges at the airport, star hotels. Besides, the tax card holder himself and his wife or husband, dependent children will get priority in getting cabin facilities in government hospitals. There will be priority in obtaining tickets for government vehicles by air, rail and water and invitations to receptions organized by national events, city corporations, municipalities and local governments.
