Argentina is opening its embassy in Bangladesh again after four decades

News Desk:  After four decades, the Latin American country Argentina is planning to open its embassy again in Bangladesh. Argentine Foreign Minister Santiago Cafiero made the announcement.

Cafiero said that he will visit Bangladesh to finalize the details after participating in the G-20 Foreign Ministers' Conference to be held in India in 2023.

Bangladeshi support for Messi's team in the ongoing World Cup football in Qatar can play a role in the implementation of this plan.

Bangladesh has always been a devoted fan-supporter of the Argentina football team. However, the immense passion of Bangladeshis for the team in Qatar World Cup has grabbed the attention of the world.

A video of Bangladeshi fans cheering after Messi's goal against Mexico at the World Cup in Qatar caught the attention of the world after it was posted on FIFA's official Twitter account.

The video quickly went viral on social media. The incident was also widely publicized in various Argentine media.

Later, Argentina's national football team's official Twitter account tweeted about Bangladesh, 'Thank you for supporting our team! They (Bangladeshis) are crazy like us!'

In view of this, ordinary citizens of Argentina also expressed their gratitude to Bangladeshis on social media.

An Argentine fan group for the Bangladesh national cricket team was also created on social media as a reward for the undying love of Bangladeshis for the Argentina football team.

Later, in a tweet last Saturday, Argentina's Foreign Minister Santiago Cafiero announced plans to reopen the embassy in Bangladesh.
