News Desk: On the first working day of the week, Sunday (December 4), the country's main stock market Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and another stock market Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) are trading with fluctuating indices. This information is known from DSE and CSE sources.
Half an hour after the start of trading on Sunday, i.e. at 10:30 am, the general index of DSE, DSEX, increased by 1 point from the previous day and stood at 6,245 points. DSE Shariah Index increased by 1 point and DSE-30 index decreased by 1 point to stand at 1,370 and 2,215 points respectively. Shares and mutual fund units worth Tk 476 million were traded during this period.
Share prices of 46 companies traded at this time on Sunday increased, 34 decreased. Share prices of 107 companies remain unchanged. The top 10 companies traded till 10:30 am on Sunday are Apex Foods, Bashundhara Paper, Amara Network, Apex Foot, Gemini Sea Food, Senakalyan Insurance, Chartered Life Insurance, Genex, Navana Pharma and Eastern Housing.
Earlier, the DSEX index gained 6 points in the first 5 minutes of opening trade today. At 10:10 AM, the index fell by 2 points from its previous position. After that the speed of the index is seen downwards. At 10:20 am, 20 minutes after the start of trading, the index fell by 2 points to 6,243 points.
