3 more deaths due to dengue, hospitalizations 523

News Desk: Three people have died in the last 24 hours due to dengue fever across the country. Meanwhile, 436 new dengue patients were admitted to the hospital. Currently, the number of dengue patients admitted to hospitals across the country is 1,827. Apart from this, the death due to dengue this year has increased to 250 people.

Tuesday (November 29) in charge of Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health Dr. Md. This information was given in the regular report on dengue signed by Zahidul Islam.

According to the report, 253 residents of Dhaka and 183 people from outside Dhaka out of 436 people admitted to the hospital due to dengue fever in the last 24 hours (from 8 am on Monday to 8 am on Tuesday). At present, the total number of dengue patients admitted in various public and private hospitals of the country is 1 thousand 827 people

According to the information of the Department of Health, a total of 56 thousand 932 people were admitted to the hospital due to dengue from January 1 to November 29 this year. Among them, 54,855 people have recovered and been discharged from the hospital.

Three people have died due to dengue in the last 24 hours. From January 1 to November 29, a total of 250 people died of dengue. The first death due to dengue was reported on June 21 this year.

During the corona epidemic in 2020, dengue infection was not seen much, but in 2021, 28 thousand 429 people were infected with dengue fever across the country. In the same year, 105 people died of dengue nationwide.
