The main cause of alcoholic fatty liver is alcohol consumption. However, nonalcoholic fatty liver is not associated with alcohol consumption. Anyone can have this problem. However, this disease occurs more as a result of irregular lifestyle.
What is Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease?
It is a condition where excess fat accumulates in the liver. This fat accumulation is, however, not related to or related to alcohol consumption.
NAFLD can also be of two types – simple fatty liver (NAFL) and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH).
Simple fatty liver refers to a condition where fat accumulates in the liver, but there are no signs of inflammation or liver damage.
Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), on the other hand, is a severe form of NAFLD. Because it not only accumulates fat, but also increases the inflammation of the liver cells.
Which causes fibrosis or scarring of the liver. Later it causes further complications, leading to liver cirrhosis or liver cancer.
Be careful if you see symptoms in the morning
Fatty liver problems can cause various symptoms in the body. One of them is fatigue. If you wake up feeling very tired in the morning then you should be careful. Feeling tired should never be taken lightly. Especially when it's frequent.
Apart from fatigue, symptoms that may occur are-
. Discomfort or pain in the upper right side of the abdomen
Abdominal bloating . Jaundice.
Enlarged blood vessels just below the surface of the skin
. Unexplained or unintentional weight loss etc.
