International Desk: A fire has occurred in a factory in China's Henan province. At least 36 people were killed. Besides, 2 people are missing according to a NDTV report.
The country's state media reported this information on Tuesday local time. Xinhua news agency reported that a fire broke out at a plant in Anyang, Henan Province, China on Monday afternoon.
According to the authorities, the fire broke out at a factory in Ayang city around 4:22 pm on Monday. Which came under control at 8 pm. However, no further information about the fire was given.
Earlier in March 2019, an explosion at a chemical factory in Yancheng, 260 kilometers from Shanghai, killed 78 people. The explosion destroyed several kilometers of houses in the surrounding area.
Also, in 2015, an explosion at a chemical warehouse in northern Tianjin killed 165 people.
