The trading ends in the stock market due to the fall of the index

 News Desk:  The second working day of the week ended on Monday (November 7) with falling indices in the stock market. On this day, the main stock market of the country, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), saw a decrease, but the other market, Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), increased slightly.

According to market analysis, DSE's main price index DSEX fell by 22 points to 6,393 points on Monday. Among the other two indices, Shariah index and DSE-30 index decreased by 4 points and 12 points to 1401 and 2245 points respectively.

Shares and mutual funds worth Tk 1,235,650,000 were traded in DSE on this day. Which is 40 crore less than the previous working day. Shares and mutual funds worth Tk 1,275,530,000 were traded in DSE the previous day.

Shares of 354 companies and units of mutual funds were traded on DSE on Monday. Among them, the prices of 48 companies increased, 98 decreased and 208 companies' shares and mutual fund unit prices remained unchanged.

The top 10 companies traded on the day are: Genex, Orion Pharma, Eastern Housing, ITC, Bashundhara Paper, Navana Pharma, LRBD, BSC, JMI Hospital and Anwar Galvanizing.

The other stock market Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) overall index CASPI has decreased by 39 points at 18 thousand 879 points. Among the 235 companies that changed hands in CSE on this day, the share prices of 49 companies increased, 65 companies decreased and 121 companies' share prices remained unchanged.

Shares and units of Tk 22.48 crore were traded on CSE on Monday, which is an increase of Tk 39 lakh compared to the previous day. 22 crore 9 lakh was traded in CSE the previous day.
