Kangana Ranaut now 'Nati Binodini'

Entertainment Desk : Rani Lakshmi Bai in 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi', Jayalalitha in 'Thalaivi' and Indira Gandhi in 'Emergency'. Kangana Ranaut is ready to take on a new challenge.

Kangana will be seen in the role of Nati Vinodini, a legendary stage actress of the 19th century. The movie will be directed by 'Parineeta' fame director Pradeep Sarkar. However, it is not yet clear whether the movie is a biopic of Nati Vinodini or not.

Kangana has acted in more than 30 movies so far. But this is the first time that he will be seen in a Bengali historical character.

Kangana said, I am a charmer of Pradeep Sarkar. I am very excited to get such an opportunity. And Pradeep Sarkar told a press about this, I am doing the film with Kangana, that's all I can say now. The rest of the casting is yet to be finalised. So I don't know now when I can start shooting. The shooting will be in Mumbai. If all goes well, there is a desire to shoot some parts of the film in Kolkata.
